Reflection

This isn’t so much a post as it is a little update. I recently arrived home after spending probably the best two weeks of my life in my favourite place on earth – the Canadian Rockies. I’ll have lots to write about and tons more to reflect on, coupled with copious amounts of pictures. But for now, and for anyone reading this, make the most of your life and of yourself.

If you’re able to, go climb up that mountain (or hill for those of us in the east). Don’t take your good health, your ability and your youth for granted. Don’t take the little things in life for granted. Get out there, explore, meet people, make connections and appreciate everything around you, because life is so fleeting and when it’s all said and done you’ll want to be able to say that you lived it to its fullest.

These past two weeks were truly indescribable. I found myself running out of words to describe the beauty around me and the experiences that I was so lucky to have had. For anyone from the Banff Jasper 150 crew, thank you so much, you’ve all had much more of an impact on me than you know.

With that, I’ll work on recounting my experiences in subsequent posts as best as I can, but I guess I should probably attend to my thesis!

Thanks for reading.

Steven

Hey Steven! Missing the BJ150 group a lot, I think about our experiences everyday. Hope to see you on the trip next year. Good luck with your thesis.
